Synopsis

After going berserk and reducing his life span, Golem had to make a tough decision for Somali's future.

Story

The conclusion they provided could either be the last for this series, or something that could have another season. Even though Golem still needs to find humans, in the end, they were seen happily adventuring together.

It gave the impression that maybe they will have a successful journey, especially since Yabashira and Shizuno stayed with them. Or, those new costumes could be a glimpse of what to expect for the next season.

Would I want a continuation? If I were to give a concrete answer... it will be 'No.' Not that the anime was bad, but, I'm fine seeing them with their joyous spirits, together.

Characters

At their dramatic confrontation, Somali was able to bring out what Golem was denying all this time.

So, great character development in this finale, Somali has become braver, and Golem was finally able to admit that he too has emotions.

Writing / Storyboarding

To be honest, I hoped the first scene was expanded more. I would prefer it if we saw more of this Berserker Golem, 'cause it was just really cool. But, knowing how much effort was needed on that part, maybe they had decided not to dwell on it too much.

And, I don't easily cry, but I bet a lot weren't able to hold their tears on the final scene.

Music / Sound

They did an awesome job in sound editing, especially in the first scene. And the BGM throughout the episode were all beautifully dramatic.
