Synopsis
A rare small dragon has landed its way on Quin Zaza, and Takita wants to find, and possibly sell it, to lessen her debt.
Story
This episode's focal point was on the main character. We've learned Takita has started around three months ago, and she still has some fees to pay for joining the crew. But, the most important was... the environment of the ship has become lively since she joined.
Now, if only she was also able to add life to this episode. After watching, I was like "That's it?". They only caught and cooked a rare dragon, how 'bout adding a scene that will make us look forward to the next episode? But nope, nada.
Characters
Aside from Takita, we've also learned a few info from Jiro. Both were newcomers, but the latter had faster improvement.
And some supporting characters were given some dialogues and a small amount of screen time (yay~
but I didn't bother to put down their names, sorry lol).
Writing / Storyboarding
This episode ended with me not being able to write down an interesting quote. I had to rewind and find something to write one above.
When it comes to what scene had decent writing, definitely the one when Mika, Jiro, and Takita were trying to catch the rare creature in the storage room. (And take note I only said 'decent.')
Artwork / Animation
The 'really rare ultra-small type' dragon, as the captain of the passenger ship calls it, takes the prize for the best non-human design.
Music / Sound
A new, dreamy BGM was played when Takita asked Jiro why he joined. This was probably the only great thing this episode has.
PS: Draker originated from the Ancient Greek word "drakon" meaning dragon or a kite.
