Synopsis
While looking for clues, Nikaido has told Caiman to split up, so that she could do things that she doesn't want him to find out.
Story
This episode has shown how Nikaido was such a great sidekick for Caiman. She did all the dirty work, even including facing their enemies by herself.
Speaking of that, the moment Noi said she'll take care of the intruder, I knew it's going to be one exciting rematch. The sad part was, the built-up was so great, I lost track of the time, and it really hit me bad when the ending credits suddenly played. (Such a downer!)
Characters
We've got one new character from Nikaido's past, he's a demon named Asu, who came to her aid to infiltrate En's mansion. What's surprising was that... the devils here seemed to be kind and approachable. They're giants, but it looked like they don't mean any harm.
And finally, we now know the real identity of the sorcerer inside Caiman. His name is Risu and this is what he looks like:
Writing / Storyboarding
The concepts they came up in the world of sorcerers were ingeniously funny. The best one was the toilet which spits out flames from hell, and after washing the user will hear shrieks of the dead for about a minute (like WTH, lol).
Artwork / Animation
This episode was full of imaginative arts for building designs, and I'm just gonna post 'em down below for you to gaze at:
Here's a microscope, with some detailed mechanical design:
Great usage of lighting effect here:
For the animation, the trick they used where they were outside the restaurant and it's like they rotated a camera, followed by a quick pan and zoom effect, was for me really awesome.
Music / Sound
We got another new ending song, and I'm fine with it. The animation sequence was also cool as it reminded me of the classic game Doom.
