This was probably the most enjoyable Isekai theme anime I've seen. This has a fantasy genre, but there's no need to be strong and overpowering. No influencing of other characters with Japanese culture, or making them eat Japanese food. No unnecessary lewd scenes, as well as characters who wear almost nothing at all (iykwim). In short, this offered fairly something fresh and definitely can be watched by anybody.
In episode one, you'll notice a familiar concept, if you have seen the Disney movie Inside Out. You'll see a group of different personas of Catarina, trying to figure out the best solution to their current issue. And I tell you, they can be really entertaining to watch.
By episode four you'll be hooked on what's gonna happen onwards, will Caterina be able to avoid the bad ending? If so, what would be her survival methods? You'll think of stuff like that, and this what made the anime addictive.
This was also a lowkey BL/GL anime. Since the game has shifted to a different tone because of the new Catarina, the characters have been more open in talking about love between any gender.
If that's controversial for you, then I'm sorry, it's not. What I considered eyebrow-raising though, was the number of men who had affairs mentioned in this show. I was like... "Again? Are men really that unfaithful?"
