Synopsis
After not gaining enough income from their film, Kanamori sets her eyes on a new project that will have a wider audience than their first.
Story
This was mostly centered on Kanamori, and yet again, we've seen how she can rebound. Yes, even when the Student Council cut the source of their budget, she managed everything and got back to business! (That's our girl~!)
Characters
We finally got to see all of our protagonists when they were all still watching
Teletubbies, IYKWIM. And Minimori, as what Midori called her, was not too farfetched from her present self. If anything changed, she became more ambitious.
Mr. Kashima from Dandan Noodle Shop was the best supporting character for this episode. It was all thanks to him, our trio finally has a budget for their new project.
And may I just add how impressive the voice actor of Midori (
Sairi Itoh) was in this episode? In the part where she was explaining about the sound effects... you can really feel the passion and notice the versatility on the tone of her voice, it was just pure awesomeness.
Writing / Storyboarding
The argument of Midori and Sayaka regarding lasers was educational (and funny because of Kanamori), both have stated facts, but Asakusa definitely won that round. It's better to follow what's right than just give the viewers what they want.
And here's a quote that I really liked besides the one which I wrote on top:
"
You can be a math wiz, but if you don't have a head for business, it won't matter."
Artwork / Animation
It was really nice to see more of the setting in their town in the daytime. I was a bit bummed after consecutive episodes showing them mostly in the school ground.
And again, the imaginative concepts of Midori for their new film (Shibahama-UFO Battle) was jawdropping.
Also for the first time, they have used what I would like to call the 'moving camera' effect.
(If anyone knows the actual term for that kind of animation where it's like they were using a real camera, kindly tell me.)
