「 The Review 」SynopsisAsakusa has finally come up with a story for their film 'Shibahama UFO Wars.'
Story
At last, our dear director had assembled a fine story that satisfied both Tsubame and Sayaka, thanks to her roaming around their town.
And it was nice to see how she and Kanamori became friends, or as they like to call it -- comrades.
Eleven episodes in and not a single one has disappointed me...
CharactersThe best supporting character goes to Mr. Fujimoto (Eizouken's club adviser). All this time, I thought he just helped them register the club, then let them do whatever they want.
Turned out, he's always in a broken-down car, moderating the girls outside while playing classic games -- Ain't that a cool way to do his job.
And in this episode, he truly shined as their adviser when he said:
"Don't work more than you have to, and when you find the time to, you play around. That's the trick to working."
Writing / StoryboardingI liked how Kanamori's meeting with the townspeople, and using Tsubame as a model, weren't just for sales and advertisement...
She used the popularity they gained, against their school officials so they can continue their project.
For them to made us think that they're in trouble because Sayaka was sick at first... It was simply clever writing.
This episode, or rather this series, had offered outstanding scenes, that I can't imagine the pressure the writers had to deal with for the last installment.
Artwork / AnimationThe complexity of both the exterior and interior of their hometown was really beyond the ordinary.
Only someone with a vast imagination can come up with something like that. And it's just really awe-inspiring.
Music / SoundThe sound mixing and editing in this anime just continue to impress me. Can't wait to hear what they produced for the finale!
