Synopsis
Golem finds work in a nearby city to buy the necessities they need for their travel. Somali on the other hand worries she and her dad will be separated soon.
Story
This episode's plot is quite similar to the first, both entered a city and asked for information about the endangered humans. But, we were served with a mix of comedy and more thrill this time.
Characters
Kikila, a Woolly Shurigara, and the unknown wolf-looking character were the new interesting additions to the cast.
Kikila was a playful friend to Somali, who I can tell doesn't mean any harm, but still, will lead our protagonist to an unfortunate incident (which actually happened, lol).
And the wolf guy with an eye-patch... I can't tell if he knows the real identity of Somali, nor if he's a bad guy. So yeah, I like that his persona was unpredictable.
Writing / Storyboarding
Good thing they have finally added some humor. Golem's gestures as a waiter and unnecessary dialogues made him funny. And the same goes to Somali's storytelling:
Artwork / Animation
This episode had some great visuals, I liked that they presented an underground setting to switch up the usual city designs they show us.
This one reminded me of
Made in Abyss:
Music / Sound
The town music when they were in Anthole City sounded nice. Although I'm not sure if it's a different track or just a part of a previous BGM they have already used.
